23rd Annual Memorial Golf Challenge

The first Memorial Challenge event was held at Poquoy Brook Golf Club on Saturday, 29 June 1996, by the International Healthcare Security & Safety Foundation in conjunction with the 28th Annual Membership and Educational Meeting of the International Association for Healthcare Security & Safety co-hosted by the Boston Chapter.

The intended purpose of this event was, and is now, to provide financial support for technology, research, educational excellence and scholarship programs.

The 18-hole "Poquoy Brook" course at the Poquoy Brook Golf Club facility in Lakeville, Massachusetts features 6,762 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 72 . The course rating is 72.4 and it has a slope rating of 128 on Blue grass. Designed by Geoffrey S. Cor-nish, ASGCA, the Poquoy Brook golf course opened in 1962. Nora Berard manages the course as the Director of Golf.
