UPDATE: Moved to the Huvos Auditorium (3rd Floor)
Due to expecting a larger turnout, the meeting has been moved to the Huvos Auditorium on the 3rd Floor. When you drive on the property, bear left and head up the hill to the parking garage. Parking will be validated. When you enter the building you are on the 3rd Floor. Please proceed straight down the corridor and the entrance to the auditorium is across from the cafeteria.

We will be meeting in the Sadowsky Conference Room on the 4th Floor. When you drive on the property, bear left and head up the hill to the parking garage. Parking will be validated. When you enter the building you are on the 3rd Floor. Please proceed to the elevator closest to the main elevator and proceed to the 4th Floor. When you get off of the elevators the President’s Office will be in front of you, go to the right and the Sadowsky Conference Room will be the first door on your left.

Speaker Bios:

Maureen McMahon RN, BSN, MS- Manager, Emergency Preparedness (Boston Medical Center)
Ms. McMahon has twenty five years of nursing experience and for the past ten years has held the position of Manager responsible for all aspects of institutional planning, response, training, and recovery activities associated with emergency preparedness at Boston Medical Center.

Christian Lanphere, PhD- Manager, Cambridge Health Alliance and Cambridge Public Health Department
Mr. Lanphere is the Emergency Manager for the Cambridge Health Alliance which includes the Cambridge Public Health Department. Dr. Lanphere serves as the Commission Chairman of the International Association of Emergency Managers, a non-profit educational organization dedicated to promoting the "Principles of Emergency Management" and representing those professionals whose goals are saving lives and protecting property and the environment during emergencies and disasters.

Prior to his position at the Cambridge Health Alliance, Dr. Lanphere was a consultant to the Emergency Preparedness Bureau at the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, worked at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, and the New England Organ Bank.

Dr. Lanphere has a PhD in Public Administration specializing in Public Safety Management and Homeland Security Policy and Coordination. Attended the Post Naval Graduate School, Harvard University School of Public Health, and the University of Massachusetts. He is licensed as a flight paramedic, critical care paramedic, Certified Emergency Manager, and firefighter I & II credentials.
